2009

On Saturday 19 September 2009 The Jacobite Gathering will see teams walk from Fortingall through Glen Lyon to Boreland House in Killin to raise money for The Sandpiper Trust and Killin & Tayside Mountain Rescue Teams. The event will start at noon with a dram and haggis, and end with a torch-lit procession to Boreland House for a feast and fireworks. Throughout the journey there will be battles and ambushes, and participants are encouraged to wear traditional Jacobite or Red Coat attire.If you are interested in attending the event click on the links for more information and registration forms or go to www.jacobitegathering.com.

25th March     Perthshire Ladies Motorcycle club raise funds and present Sandpiper bag to Dr Finlay from Rannoch Health Centre.

19th & 20th March    - Woodlane Craft,Doune, to hold their Spring Fashion Show. Tickets available from their shop.

Feb  --  Fettes School raises funds for Sandpiper Trust.

8th November  -  Antiques Valuation Day at Blairdrummond Hall with the help of Shapes Auctioneers

23 & 24th September -  Woodlande Craft, Doune  to hold an Autumn fashion show. Nurse McCluskie to be presented with Sandpiper Bag

8th & 9th March and 15th & 16th March  ART@KILBRYDE  This is a sale of  wonderful contemorary art. Part of the proceeds are donated to the trust. 

Tues.18th March at 1pm and 7.30pm and Wed 19th March at 1pm and 7.30pm. Woodlane Craft, Doune- Spring into Summer Fashion preview.
